How do I know if my item is in stock?
We keep our website up to date with all available items and sizes. Any items that are limited stock or pre-order items will be noted. Items that are on pre-order will have an expected ship date noted. We will contact you under rare circumstances of a delay for an in-stock item.
An item in my order has a ship by date, when will my complete order ship?
For orders that include an item with a ship by date, we will hold your entire order until all items are available to ship at one time. If you would like the in-stock items to ship right away, you can contact customer service to arrange a separate shipment, though there may be an additional shipping charge. We do note the expected ship by date for all pre-order items when ordering, so please make sure to select a shipping method that will have your order to you in time for your event!
What payments do you accept?
We accept any major credit cards- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express as well as Apple and Google Pay.
Do you accept international cards?
Yep! There shouldn't be an issue as long as the billing address you enter in customer information matches the billing address for the card. You can also use Paypal which is preferred by international customers for ease and conversion rates.
Where can I find your sizing chart?
For your convenience, we have the corresponding sizing information linked next to the size selections for a streamlined shopping experience!
My baby is older than the size range the chart indicates according to the measurements. Should I go by their age anyway?
We really say to go more by the baby's actual measurements than by age or weight since babies can vary in size. A short but chunky 6 month old baby might need a 9-12mo gown since their chest would measure larger and the height isn't important for longer gowns that go past the baby's feet! When in doubt, our friendly Customer Service reps are happy to help with sizing.
My baby usually wears 6-9mo size but the gowns only come in 3-6mo or 9-12mo. Where is my size?
The longer gowns only come in either 3-6mo or 9-12mo since the chest is the only important measurement and there isn't a big enough difference between those sizes and a 6-9mo size to need it as well. Check the baby's chest measurement against the sizing chart, but be sure to allow 1-2 inches for wiggle room!
How long does it take for me to receive my order?
Typically we ship out within 2-3 business days of receiving the order and standard shipping is with FedEx 2 day service, which delivers in 2 business days (excluding holidays)! Orders that include gift boxes are shipped with FedEx Ground service which delivers in 3-5 business days.
Due to record high package volumes, FedEx is currently experiencing delivery delays across the US and cannot guarantee 2 day delivery service. We do recommend ordering early to provide plenty of time for delivery or consider upgrading to an Overnight shipping option for faster delivery.
I forgot to add an item to my order. Can I still add it without being charged shipping again?
As long as the order hasn't shipped out yet, Yes! Try to contact us as soon as you realize you forgot to add the item so that you can avoid having to pay an additional shipping charge.
How will my order be packaged?
We look over and press all of our garments and then carefully package them in a clear plastic bag. This is then wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a FedEx soft pack or box (for smaller items, they may be shipped in a FedEx envelope instead.) We do also offer a gift wrap option, here, we will beautifully package your item in the baby gift box so that it is ready for gifting upon delivery! Please note that gift wrapped orders are sent FedEx Ground, which take an additional 1-3 business days for delivery.
Do you ship internationally? Which carrier do you use?
We ship using FedEx international priority at a starting rate of $25. We ship all over the world on a daily basis and orders can arrive anywhere from 3-5 business days after placing the order. It can be even faster at times, with orders arriving in Canada within 1-2 business days, and even 2-3 business days to Ireland and select areas of the UK!
Will there be any additional charges or fees for the order?
There will be taxes/duties that your country will charge either at a later date or upon delivery. These charges vary from country to country and are not coming from us so we are unable to find out what they will be.
How will my order be packaged?
To keep international shipping costs low for our customers, we press and package everything in clear plastic bags and then ship them in soft waterproof paks. Smaller items may be shipped in large Envelopes.
How do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?
These are shipped as USPS domestic orders. Once you enter the address for the shipping information the USPS shipping option will come up for you!
I qualified for free shipping on my order. How come the shipping cost was deducted from my refund?
As noted in our Return policy, orders which qualified for Free shipping that are returned, causing the total of items kept to fall under $150, will have $9.50 deducted to cover original shipping costs.
If you placed an exchange order and have paid for exchange shipping, this charge will not be deducted. If you chose the Free shipping option on your exchange as well, then the $9.50 will still be deducted from the order returned.
I added a coupon code to my order, why am I now being charged a shipping fee?
We are happy to be able to offer free domestic shipping for orders over $150. If you use a coupon and your order total falls below $150, the order will no longer qualify for the free shipping promotion and the shipping cost will be added.
My tracking says the package was delivered, but I have not received my order. What can I do?
For packages marked as delivered that are not received, we do ask that you contact us as soon as possible and we will be happy to start a delivery investigation with FedEx. This investigation will usually take 2-3 business days to complete and once the investigation is completed, if FedEx is unable to successfully locate and correctly delivery your package, we will be happy to get a replacement order sent out to you! Please note that depending on stock and event date, we may be unable to have a replacement to you in time for your event, at which point a refund would be issued.
CARE & PRESERVATION
Should I wash my outfit before my baby wears it?
We do not recommend washing your baby's outfit before they wear it on event day! Water, heat, and detergents can affect the shape and color of the outfit. Water can actually damage the delicate silk, lace, and ribbon used for your special outfit. We do recommend taking your outfit out of the packaging and and allowing it to hang for a day or two before your event to help relax any slight wrinkling that may be caused during shipping. Some customers have also opted to have their outfit steamed before their event to refresh the material! If you do wish to iron stubborn wrinkles, use it on a low setting and use either tissue paper or a layer of cotton in between to keep the materials safe from water drops or overheating. It is not necessary for your garments to be dry-cleaned before wear either.
How should I store my outfit after my baby's event?
After use, we do recommend having your outfit dry-cleaned by an experienced dry-cleaner that will know how to treat your special items and materials with care. Having your items dry-cleaned will help to remove any drool, spit-up or natural oils left from passing baby around, that may not be seen now, but will discolor over time if left uncleaned.
There are a few ways you can safely store your outfit. Either hang your outfit inside a garment bag on a padded hanger or store it inside an acid-free box, lined with acid-free tissue paper. Place acid-free tissue paper between any folds if stored in a box. We sell Muslin Keepsake garment bags on our site to safely store your items for years. Muslin cotton is ideal for storing garments. If you wish to have your gown formally preserved, we recommend talking to an experienced dry-cleaner they will be most knowledgable in preserving the delicate materials.
I'm not used to ordering online. Do you have any stores local to me?
We are an online store only, but our easy Return and Exchange policy along with our friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service reps allow you to shop easily and with confidence so you have the best online shopping experience possible.
I have seen your outfits for a greatly discounted price on another website. Why are they offering your outfits for so much less?
We are aware of these sites that are using our pictures without our permission. These are usually websites from China that have stolen our photos and claim they can re-create and mass produce our designs at a lower cost. The way they achieve this is by using cheap materials, and we have heard from customers who have purchased from these sites (before shopping with us) that their items are nothing like ours or are sometimes not delivered at all. We are a very small, family owned company, and all of our collections are designed in-house by our owner for exclusive sale by our company. Our photos are copyrighted and we are constantly working on having these stolen images removed from these websites, but this process does take some time.
Please know that the only way to receive an authentic Baby Beau & Belle design is to order through our websites or our official Etsy store!
