NOW PINNING: GOLD BAPTISM DETAILS

We love hearing what inspires our customers! For example, we often hear about the moment when a mom opens her package from Baby Beau and Belle and views her child’s christening outfit for the very first time. After searching online, deciding on the perfect outfit and patiently waiting for it to arrive in the mail, it’s understandably a very exciting moment to finally see the outfit in person and feel the materials in your hand. This is one of those moments when many start to envision their child’s celebration and feel inspired to plan details for the day. Other parents have shared how they find inspiration from family heirlooms. Such as a special pair of booties that were hand-made by their great-grandmother and have been passed from one generation to the next.

We are constantly inspired by the beautiful photos parents share with us of their children on their special day. We love hearing about the details from their celebrations and what made their day so special.

We also find inspiration when little ones come into our studio to model our designs. Recently, we had a beautiful newborn girl come in to help model a few of our collections. She was 3 weeks old and absolutely perfect. We made sure to keep her warm and comfortable, dressed in soft materials and warm layers…she was definitely a fan of our plush sheepskin rug. One of our favorite looks we styled was the Louisa Cotton Christening Gown. The Louisa gown is 100% cotton, including the gorgeous floral lace overlay, so it has always been a popular option for infants over the years. One of our favorite photos from this shoot was when we bundled her up in the Louisa Quilted Sweater and Hat. Made with an extra soft ivory quilted cotton, the weight of the jacket is perfect for the cooler winter months.

Each piece from the Louisa is detailed with a beautiful gold silk satin ribbon; the perfect compliment to the champagne cotton and ivory lace. After looking through the photos of this little one in the Louisa, we started to envision an event with subtle gold touches to pick up the gold ribbon detail on the Louisa.
